Alandon Tow Online Public Auto Auction Terms and Conditions.
This auctioin is open to Kansas and Missouri licensed residents only. The bidder's current photo ID must be the same address where the vehicle is being title per Kansas law.
Vehicles are sold "as-is, where is”, in existing condition. No warranty. There is no guarantee expressed or implied from the seller or agent and there are no returns or refunds.
Vehicles are sold at auction unless the owner redeems the amount due before 5pm the day before the sale. Vehicles are sold by possessory lien with a bill of sale only. The to lot retains the right to remove vehicles as necessary.
Paperwork to apply for a title is available for purchase the week of the sale for $100 CASH paid to the tow lot at vehicle pick up. See more information below. If you have issues obtaining a title lease contact the tow lot directly with questions regarding this. Please check with your state prior to bidding to be sure they will issue a title with the paperwork. All sales are final.
All information provided regarding the condition of the vehicle is deemed dependable but is not guaranteed. We strongly encourage bidders to preview vehicles in person before bidding. The bidder should independently verify all information. The tow lot will advise what they are aware of regarding the vehicles. (For example: no brakes, runs and moves, missing motor parts). Preview by appointment at the tow lot is strongly encouraged. Slots can fill up quickly so plan ahead. Most vehicles have batteries or keys, some may not. Miles per odometer reading if available. Complete inspection of the vehicle should be made by bidder prior to the auction. Register online: you must be over 18 with a current legal photo id and a valid credit card in your name. Upon registration your credit card will be verified and a preapproval up to may be made to verify that funds will be available if you are the successful bidder. Preview is available by appointment. Register online first then call Alandon tow to schedule an appointment at 913-596-1770. No shipping. Local pick up only-in person by registered buyer with legal photo id and paid invoice. If you need the vehicle towed contact Alandon at 913-596-1770 to quote the fee for that. Pre-bidding starts at 8:00am the Friday before the sale. The auction will start closing one lot at a time on Tuesday 10:00 AM. You can place your minimum and maximum bid any time prior to the 10am start, especially if you will not be available to watch the auction and bid online when the closing starts. In case of a tie bid the earliest bid wins. Terms of payment: Mastercard, Discover, Visa or funds wired to Hiatt Auction LLC's Bank account by 3pm sale day. You also have the option to do a direct dposit at our speicified bank before 3PM sale day. No cash or checks. Please have your funds ready prior to the sale. You will not receive an invoice until all lots are clerked at the end of the auction. DO NOT BID if you do not have the funds available by the auction day. Upon registration your credit card will be verified, and a preapproval will be made to verify that funds will be available if you are the successful bidder. At the end of the auction any invoices below $2,000. will immediately be processed, and you will be e-mailed a paid invoice. Any issues with processing must be rectified immediately with Hiatt Auction or you will risk being permanently banned from all auctions. If the purchase is over $2,000 you will be required to complete a wire transfer or direct cash deposit from your financial institution no later than 3pm sale date. Failure to do so will make you subject to a $200 fee and may result in a permanent ban from all sales. Please plan with your bank and Hiatt Auction 24 hours prior to bidding to avoid any complications. It is a straightforward process. There are no cancellations, chargebacks, or refunds at this auction. After completed payment is verified the buyer will be emailed a copy of their paid invoice. Pickup: The buyer can call Alandon after 1 pm sale day to schedule the pickup. Do not show up in person without an appointment. Do not schedule an appointment until your vehicles are paid for as advised. The buyer must appear in person with their legal photo id, their credit card they used for payment (for verification purposes) and paid invoice in hand to pick up vehicle. To arrange pick up the buyer must call the tow lot at 913-596-1770. Absolutely no shipping or agents unless payment is made with bank wire transfer or direct cash deposit and a letter/email of authorization . In person only. Pickup no later than the Friday of sale week or storage fees of $25 per calendar day will be applied. When picking up vehicle the buyer will acquire the bill of sale from Alandon Tow. They are strongly encouraged to purchase the paperwork to apply for a title at that time. Cost for the paperwork the week of the sale is $50 cash. After that time, the cost is an additional $25 through the month and an additional $25 per month after that. The tow lot will not be able to produce immediate paperwork after that due to filing and time constraints. As previously stated, the paperwork does not guarantee a title or lien releases. No repairs or clean out at the tow lot. Buyer is responsible for themselves and the vehicle. Absolutely no one on the lot under the age of 18. Failure to abide by the terms and conditions can result in not being allowed to bid in the future at Alandon tow or any other Hiatt Auction LLC conducted auctions or other HiBid auctions. We reserve the right to refuse bidders that cannot comply with terms or have prior record of non-payment or other issues that do not comply with the tow lot or auction company’s terms and conditions.
